Elementary School Choral Music

Elementary vocal music is a musical outlet for the children. Not only do the children learn the basics of vocal singing, but general music knowledge is taught as well. Through music games, rhythm sticks, boomwackers, rhythm instruments, hand bells, and other manipulative, the children learn the basics of music theory and vocal techniques. Students learn music history, international music, listening skills, music appreciation, and instrumentation and have opportunity to create music and express their own talents. Each grade level has a special performance each school year to showcase vocal singing ability.
