If you are a returning family, you know that we are ready to embark upon another fabulous school year, filled with academic achievement, solid athletic competition, spiritual growth, and fun filled social activities and events. If this is your first year at VCS, get ready! It's going to be an incredible experience.

VCS holds a dual accreditation from both the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The accreditation process reviews a schools condition as it relates to philosophy, the structure and organization of the school (admissions, school governance, finance, personnel, instructional program, resources, etc...). We are thrilled to hold the highest level of accreditation currently offered by both agencies.

Vacaville Christian Middle School is comprised of three grade levels, 6th through 8th. We pride ourselves on offering an amazing array of academic and elective courses which include advanced math and English classes, seven different computer technology courses (Microsoft and Adobe Applications, Graphic Design - NEW*, Flash Animation - NEW*, Digital Photography, Keyboarding, Film, and Media Arts - NEW*), Instrumental Music, Chapel Leadership, Yearbook, Art, Intro to Psychology, French - NEW*, Spanish, Algebra Plus, Run with Reading, and Life Skills. However, all that we teach at VCS is infused with a Biblical perspective. A Christ centered education, focusing on Christian values and character is at the core of who we are as a school. We have weekly chapels, daily Bible classes, and an amazing fall spiritual retreat for all of our students. Our goal is to prepare students to excel in high school and college academically, spiritually, and physically. As a result of our high standards students regularly perform one to three grade levels beyond national standards (SAT).

Our students also have the opportunity to experience success in areas outside of the classroom. These include playing on one of our 19 sports teams (football, track, cross country, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, soccer), participating in community service and missions projects, or getting involved in one of the many incredible clubs, such as, DOTS (discipleship club), Cooking, Sci-fi, Basketball, French, etc...

And if that isn't enough to entice you to our program, we also have before and after school extended care, state of the art computer and science labs, a media technology/TV station, a beautiful 2 year old sports complex, a full tutoring program in every core subject area, and an on-line program for parents (PowerSchool), enabling parents to access current information on their child's homework, class assignments, grades, and attendance.
